Iran, Spain Set to Build Croatian LNG Terminal
Moj News (Iran) http://www.iranenergyproject.org/815/iran-spain-set-to-build-croatian-lng-terminal Iran's National Oil Company (NIOC) and Spain's Gas Natural SDG S.A. are planning to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal for central Europe near Rogotin in southern Dalmatia, Balkans News reported. The project is expected to cost 700 million Euros, and the two companies would enter after the formation of a group including Berber from Zagreb, a company that specializes in business project development according to Croatian Times. The EU should accelerate the application of common energy policy rules, and the policy itself must aim to improve competitiveness, security of supply and sustainability, concluded a joint meeting of over 250 MEPs and MPs from EU Member States in Brussels on Tuesday. Three panels, on energy security, a single energy market and new and renewable energies, presented their reports on Tuesday.
